Blogging & My First Post

Well it's the 28th December 2005 and I've finally succumbed to the allure of blogging. I never really understood what the whole deal of writing your whole life and thoughts online for the world to see. But then again I had never really had any faith in the internet experience ever since its big push in the 90's. You must remember that I am only 25 years old and am only realizing that this thing called the internet is bigger then I ever envisioned.

Having other people look at what are your private thoughts, to me is quite scary. Hmmmm, maybe not scary but probably more disconcerting. I ended up figuring, what kind of things could there be to hide... well probably alot of things if you meet that special someone or find the perfect job and then those parties end up finding your blog with ALL your private thoughts. There are plenty of thoughts in my head that are personal and I know for a fact that some of those thoughts would get myself or others in a little bit of hot water. So I'll try and be a good boy as much as posssible when writing on this blog. I know all blogs aren't personal but I'm thinking that this will be a therapeutic process for me. There are alot of things that are on my chest that I would like to air. We'll see how repetitive these thoughts get and find out what I'm really thinking about.

A couple of people that I have to thank for getting me onto the blogging experience are cammi (camila - my ex girlfriend) and dave (i call him ish and have known him pretty much forever). Cammi is right into the blog thing and has been for quite a few years. Having never understood why she did it I'm starting to understand why. The reason for dave is that he is probably the most prolific online user in my circle of friends.

Well that's me for today. I've got alot more to write about but I think that is plenty for my first blog entry. Don't you?
